Like it or not, life is change.  Some people dig their heels in and rail against it and some hide in the hope that change won't find them.  But, of course, it always will.  Others — largely oddballs like myself — embrace it, revel in it, look forward to it like a visit from a close friend.

As if to authenticate my oddball credentials, in April of 2019 I sold my house in Nashville, TN, got rid of most of my possessions, moved myself and my dog into an RV and embarked an adventure.  Like all meaningful journeys, where we'll go is far less important than the experiences we'll have, the things we'll learn, and the people we'll meet along the way.

So come get lost with us (or maybe we'll get found)!

Update: As of November 1, 2023 Maggie and I have left the road (so to speak) and have made St. Augustine, FL our new home. My late-in-life passion for travel has not ended, but in keeping with the theme of the past several years, we're still embracing change. And settling into a house without wheels once again is just another example. The trailer that served us so well has been sold and if RV-ing is to continue, it will be in a rig that's smaller, lighter and easier to pull. Otherwise, upcoming adventures might take a different form altogether. Who knows, I might even start flying (and those who know me will understand the magnitude of that statement). Never say never!
